In a statement Tuesday, Cricket South Africa denies the claims concerning money for the 2009 Indian Premier League, which was moved to South Africa.
CSA adds it received money from the Board of Control for Cricket in India _ which organizes the IPL _ but some funds “were not included in the income statement of CSA as they were not part of CSA activities.” CSA says it “merely acted as a conduit for BCCI.”
Mtutuzeli Nyoka _ who was fired as its president in February but reinstated by a court last week _ claimed in an affidavit the money went missing.
